Urban Soundscape

How loud is your location?

World Health Organization (WHO) identified environmental noise as the second-largest environmental health risk in Western Europe. Outside noise entering the home can have a serious impact on health and well-being. Whether you’ve got noisy neighbours or live near a busy area, noise pollution can increase stress and negatively affect your overall quality of life.

Noise levels impact perceived value of a neighbourhood, potentially ‘down-valuing’ housing assets. As well as adverse effects on health and productivity. Soundscape plays an important role in evaluating the quality of the environment. It is the life of a space that one experiences by listening.

Our Urban soundscape map can help you to make an informed decision about the potentially hazardous effects of noise on your hearing and well-being by potential tranquil spaces around your location

If your current or future home is located in a possible busy area it’s not necessarily mean there is a noise problem in the property; the only way to find out whether it is above or below the accepted noise level is to carry out a noise  measurement.

The map informs you of the proximity to tranquil spaces to allowing you to make informed decisions.

How do we do it?

1
Collecting the Right Data

We are connected to receive up-to-date data directly from the national flood warning agencies.

2
Making Data Ready for Use

Data collected and sent to a data server within a cloud system that processes the information and provides conclusions through our experts.

3
Flood Risk Map

We map the data and make it easier to read, providing other related information that allow people to compare and see patterns and main affected areas.
